The Art of Being Broke 24 Hours

Some of you may find it very strange but there are people out there practicing the art every moment of their lives. As I was doing my favorite time pass: taking a very long walk I watched people go by and I started to ponder about the kinds of people whom I meet almost everyday. One of the guys I meet and unconciously observe is the kind of gentleman I am refering to. My mind started analyzing that person and I started recollecting the regular conversations he had with me. As I analyzed the conversation it struck to me that it was all an excuse. I thought it would be a good idea to put down in points the behaviour of that great gentleman whom I can dedicate my this write up. So here goes:

To be 24 hours broke kindly do the following:

1. Be lazy. You don't have to get up early unless and until the doctor has told you to do so. In fact you don't even need to get up if you don't want to.

2. Work Part Time. This way you have the option of not working at all. With no fixed office hours and no life goals to achieve you are the king of this world.

3.Dream Big. It is free. Dream that a big Merc will come to your house accompanying the dream girl of your life and will take you to be her husband giving you a big chance to be even lazier.

4. Talk as if the tension of World War three hovers over your head and it is you who is controlling the danger button.

5. Live on Other Peoples Money. Borrow! Borrow! and Borrow!! Promise to payback tomorrow and you will never have to pay because 'Tomorrow Never Comes'.

6. If by mistake you earn some money, spend it as soon as possible with your friends so that you can ask your friends for money when you are broke, that can be even the next day.

7. Be in company of friends who are earning, and have lots of such friends. This way you can ask money anytime and anywhere. If one refuses you can approach the second, the third...and the list goes on.

8. Talk Philosophy and talk big about matters that have no direct connection to you or others. This will make you sound intelligent and will fool your friends to lend you the money.

9. Carry a classy mobile, even if you don't have any talk time left in it or money to recharge it. You can always make an excuse and borrow your friends mobile and make a dozen of phone calls.

10. Dress in style even if you are broke. You can always say that you forgot your purse or in worst case someone picked your purse in the crowded bus. Nobody is going to cross check and you get another golden opportunity to borrow some money from your friends.

The creative and professional broke can add many more intelligent excuses to be broke.

No one can influence them. They will even agree to your suggestions but change, they will not because borrowing has made their lives easy. When life is easy who wants to struggle and make it hard?

If you don't lend them they will move on to the next person. For them every person is a prospect.

Taking one project at a time

It has been a long time since I posted my last article. In fact three sundays have passed by. I have my hands full of various projects and I am taking one project at a time. Now a days I am busy thinking about Goa. Not that I am planning a vacation there, but I am in the midst of editing the project on Goa. This February I and my team were at Goa Carnival and have covered the same in great detail on video camera. Along with the Colorful Carnival we managed to cover the interiors of Goa and ofcourse the famous beaches for which Goa is known across the globe. But old Goa has a life style completely in contrast to the part lined with palm fringed beaches and foriegn tourists. The huge and magnificent temples and churches presents the spiritual side of the Goan people. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded city these worship places offer great peace of mind.
I have just completed the Goa Carnival and finalizing Goa beaches after that I'll move on to Goa temples and churches.
Next time I will upload few interesting pictures of Goa that presents Goa both as a Fun Destination and a land of Temples and Churches.

Till next time
