He lip synced the most popular songs of his era and his unique, unusual dance steps and body movements brought a masti on the screen that even today can make anyone stand up and dance.
Even though age stopped Mr. Shammi Kapoor to portray that rebel hero, what he left behind on screen through his various films be it black and white or color will inspire the audience of every generation to live a life of fun, joyfulness, sometimes naughty and over and above all a life of honesty and responsibility.
